Acceptance of the General Terms of Sale

1. The contract between marmodels.it and the Customer shall be considered concluded upon acceptance, even partial, of the order by Mar Models. Such acceptance is considered implicit unless otherwise communicated to the Customer in any form. By placing an order through the available methods, the Customer declares to have read all the information provided during the purchase procedure and to fully accept the general and payment conditions outlined below.
2. If the Customer is a consumer (i.e., a natural person purchasing goods for purposes not related to their professional activity), once the online purchase procedure is completed, they must print or save an electronic copy and in any case retain these general sales conditions in compliance with Articles 3 and 4 of Legislative Decree 185/1999 on distance selling.
3. The Customer has no right to damages or compensation, nor any contractual or non-contractual liability for direct or indirect damages to people and/or property caused by the non-acceptance, even partial, of an order.

Purchase Methods

4. The Customer may purchase only the products listed in the electronic catalogue of www.marmodels.it at the time of order submission and viewable online at www.marmodels.it, as described in the respective product information sheets. It is understood that the image accompanying a product description may not be perfectly representative of its characteristics and may differ in color, size, or accessories shown.
   All information supporting the purchase process is to be understood as general informational material, not necessarily referring to the actual characteristics of a specific product.
5. Correct receipt of the order is confirmed by marmodels.it via email sent to the address provided by the Customer. This confirmation message will include an “Order Number,” which must be referenced in any further communication. The message will restate all data entered by the Customer, who undertakes to verify its accuracy and promptly report any corrections according to the methods described in this document.

6. The following payment methods are available:

• Bank transfer
• Credit card (excluding American Express)
• PayPal and PayPal “Pay in 3”
• Satispay and Klarna

Shipping Methods and Costs

7. For each order placed on marmodels.it, the company issues an invoice or fiscal receipt for the shipped goods, sent to the order holder pursuant to Art. 14 of Presidential Decree 445/2000 and Legislative Decree 52/2004. The document is issued based on the information provided by the Customer at the time of the order. No changes can be made after issuance.
8. Shipping costs are borne by the Customer.
9. Mar Models cannot be held liable for delays in order processing or delivery.
10. Upon delivery of the goods by the courier, the Customer must check:

• that the number of packages matches what is indicated in the transport document forwarded via email;
• that the packaging is intact, undamaged, not wet, and not altered in any way, including closure materials (adhesive tape or metal straps).
  Any damage to the packaging and/or product, or discrepancies in the number of packages or information, must be immediately reported by writing DAMAGED GOODS – SUBJECT TO INSPECTION (RISERVA DI CONTROLLO) on the courier’s delivery note.
  Once the delivery document is signed, the Customer may no longer raise objections regarding the external condition of the delivered goods.
  Any issues regarding physical integrity, product conformity, or completeness must be reported within 7 days of delivery, in accordance with the procedures described in this document.

11. If the goods are not collected within 5 working days from the courier’s notice due to repeated inability to deliver to the address provided by the Customer, the order will be automatically cancelled, and all storage fees will be charged to the Customer. Please always provide an active phone number in the order.

Right of Withdrawal

Under Legislative Decree 206/2005, the Customer may exercise the right of withdrawal without penalties and without providing any reason within 14 days of receiving the goods. To exercise this right, the Customer must send written notice via registered mail with return receipt to:

The communication may also be sent by email, provided it is confirmed by registered mail with return receipt within the following 48 hours. The Customer must return the items within 14 days from the date on which they communicated their decision to withdraw from the contract. Items must be returned in their original packaging, intact and complete in all parts (packaging, accessories, instructions, spare parts lists, etc.). To prevent damage to the original packaging during transport, we recommend using our packaging or placing the original box inside a second box. Return shipping costs are borne by the Customer, and the shipment remains under Customer’s full responsibility until it reaches our warehouse. Mar Models is not responsible for damage, theft, or loss of items returned via uninsured shipments. If the package is received damaged, Mar Models may refuse it. With the exception of any restoration costs for damages to the original packaging, Mar Models will refund the full amount paid. Refunds will be issued via the same payment method used at the time of purchase: reversal on credit card or PayPal account for those payment methods, or via bank transfer. In this case, the Customer must promptly provide the bank details for the refund (ABI – CAB – Account Number of the invoice holder).

Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal is void if the essential condition of product integrity (packaging and/or contents) is lacking, or in cases where Mar Models verifies:

• partial use of the product or consumption of materials;

• damage or absence of external packaging and/or internal original packaging;

• damage to the product for reasons other than transport;

• missing additional components.

In these cases, Mar Models will return the product to the Customer and charge shipping costs. The right of withdrawal is excluded for:

• Customers purchasing with a VAT number;

• Sealed items that have been opened;

• Digital or IT products such as decoders or sealed software that have been opened after delivery;

• Goods made to measure or clearly customized for the Customer (e.g., decoder installation).
